Get set up + get the most out of CoDi Tennis.

Coach onboarding requires a WWCC + a coaching certification. Admin reviews + activates within 48 hours.

1. Sign up at /signup and pick 'Coach' as your account type.
2. Confirm your email.
3. Enter cert ID, level, expiry; WWCC number, state, expiry on /profile.
4. Submit. An admin manually verifies your WWCC against the relevant state authority register before flipping your status to 'Verified'. You get notified by email + in-app when this happens (typically within a few business days).
5. Once verified, your /coach surface unlocks + you appear in the public directory with a green-border tile that signals 'safe to book'.

Classes default to status='planned' — visible to parents but with a 'Register interest' button instead of 'Book'. Use this to validate demand before committing.

1. Open /coach/classes/new.
2. Pick date, time, kind (Group / Private / Squad / Workshop), level, location, price.
3. For recurring sets: tick 'Recurring', pick weekly / fortnightly / monthly, set count. School holidays auto-skip based on your region's calendar.
4. Save. The class appears in /coach/classes with status 'Planning'.
5. Parents see it on /junior/classes with the violet 'Planning' chip + 'Register interest' button.

When you have enough EOIs (or you're committing regardless), click Confirm. Every active EOI parent gets a notification with a deep link to complete the booking.

1. Open /coach/classes/[id] for the planned class.
2. Scroll to the 'Interested parents' panel above the roster — see who's flagged interest + any notes they left.
3. Click 'Confirm class' in the header action row.
4. Read the confirmation dialog (shows how many parents will be notified). Confirm.

Every student you've coached has a /coach/students/[id] detail view. Drill checklist, session notes, badges, and now practice activity.

1. Open /coach/students for the full roster.
2. Click a student to open their detail view.
3. Tick drills off in the current-level checklist as the student demonstrates competency. Updates student_skills + surfaces on the parent's /junior/pathway immediately.
4. Scroll for: Practice Activity (streak + 7-day grid, NEW), Badges, Add-a-note form, Recent notes timeline.

Each student's detail page shows their daily-practice streak + last-7-days grid. Use it to celebrate the kids who are putting in the work + nudge those who aren't.

1. Open /coach/students/[id].
2. Look at the 'Practice activity' panel below the header.
3. 🔥 Current streak + 🏆 Best streak pills show their habit health.
4. The 7-day grid shows which days hit the qualifying threshold (≥2 drills) — 🔥 for qualifying days, count for partial days, · for empty days.
5. Empty state suggests a 2-drill routine to mention at the next session.

Per-booking earnings live on /coach/income. Bank-side reconciliation lives in your Stripe Express dashboard.

1. Open /coach/income for booking-by-booking earnings with CoDi commission line.
2. Filter by date range / kid / class / status.
3. Export CSV for accounting.
4. Open Stripe Express (linked from /coach/integrations) for actual bank payouts. Default rolling 2-business-day delay; configurable in Stripe.

Two launch-coach perks. Anyone who joins by 1 August 2026 gets the Founder Coach badge (recognition-only). The first 100 coaches who book 10 unique kids get $0 monthly platform fee for 12 months from qualification.

1. Founder Coach badge: automatic on signup if your account was created on or before 1 August 2026 (CoDi may extend the cutoff date). Shows on your /c/[slug] public profile.
2. First-100 12-months-free: track your progress on /coach (home page tile) — count is unique kids who've booked at least one paid session with you.
3. On reaching 10 unique kids, the cron auto-applies the 12-months-free benefit + sends an in-app + email notification.
4. Your monthly platform fee drops to $0 for the next 12 months. After 12 months, standard pricing resumes.

Coaches handle children's information + payment data, so two-factor authentication is required on every coach account. Until you've enrolled, your /coach dashboard is gated.

1. Open /profile → 'Two-factor authentication'.
2. Scan the QR with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, 1Password, Authy).
3. Enter the 6-digit code to confirm enrolment.
4. 2FA is now required on every sign-in. Lost your authenticator? Email support@coaching.direct from your registered email and we'll verify your identity manually before resetting.
