Checked by a person — and re-checked every day
Every coach's clearance is sighted and checked by a human before their first booking, then enforced daily by the system: a lapsed or withdrawn check blocks new bookings immediately. In Australia we confirm the Working With Children Check against the state register itself; where a coach's country has no such register, their profile says that rather than claiming a check we couldn't make. Generic booking tools take a self-declared checkbox at signup, if they ask at all. You can verify any coach yourself on our public credential verifier, no account needed.
One flat fee, no surprises on either side
Coaches pay a flat 6% commission (GST-inclusive) and absorb the card fee — so the price a parent sees is exactly the price they pay, never surcharged at checkout. Refunds within the notice window return exactly what you paid. Every coach sees their commission itemised booking-by-booking.
Built for the way family life actually works
Term bookings include make-up credits issued automatically — no IOUs living in a coach's head or a spreadsheet. If your coach can't make a session and a verified substitute steps in, you choose: keep the session or take a full refund. The rules are in the system, not in a group chat.

Your child's details are never public, phone numbers stay masked until you choose to share them, and every message is screened for inappropriate content before it posts — with an AI safety net behind it. How it works, step by step
The six workflows that run the platform.
ParentBook your first lesson
- Create a free account and add your player (name, age, level) — or skip this if you're booking for yourself.
- Browse coaches or classes and open a profile to see the schedule and prices.
- Click Book — the dialog shows the price, GST, and the coach's cancellation policy before you pay.
- Pick which player the booking is for (you'll be asked for a phone number on your first booking).
- Pay by card through Stripe — confirmation arrives by email and the booking appears in your bookings hub.
ParentCancel a booking + get your money back
- Open your bookings and click Cancel on the session.
- The dialog shows the exact outcome before you confirm: a full refund inside the coach's notice window, otherwise a make-up credit per the policy you saw at booking.
- Choose the scope — just this session, or every future session in the set.
- Confirm. A 60-second undo banner lets you reverse an accidental cancellation.
- Refunds land back on your card (typically 5–10 business days); credits appear in your credits hub and apply automatically next time.
ParentWhen your coach can't make a session
- Your coach requests cover — only WWCC-verified coaches can claim it (centre sessions: only coaches from that centre).
- When a substitute claims the session, you get a notification with a decision page.
- Choose: keep the booking with the substitute, or cancel and get your money back.
- Your choice is recorded per booking and the session goes ahead accordingly.

- Sign up as a coach and submit your coaching certification and Working With Children Check details.
- A human admin verifies your WWCC against the state register — you're notified when you're cleared (you can't take bookings until then).
- Connect payouts via Stripe Express onboarding (about 5–10 minutes).
- Create your first class — one-off, or a recurring term that auto-skips school holidays.
- You appear in the public directory with your own shareable profile, WWCC badge included.

- Create the class in Planning mode — parents see a 'Register interest' button instead of Book.
- Parents flag interest free; watch it arrive on your class page.
- Click 'Confirm class' when you have enough demand — every interested parent is notified with a link to pay and lock in.
- After the session runs, one click marks it Completed and bulk-records attendance.

- Sign up with your ABN (verified against the Australian Business Register) and pick a monthly tier.

What does CoDi Tennis cost?
Having an account is free — you only pay the coach's listed price per session, shown with GST before you pay. The optional CoDi Pro drill library is a separate small subscription and is never required to book.
What happens if I need to cancel a lesson?
Every coach sets a notice window (the platform default is 48 hours). Cancel before the deadline and 100% of what you paid goes back to your card. Cancel after it and the booking follows the policy you saw before paying — usually a make-up credit. The cancellation screen always shows the exact outcome before you confirm, with a 60-second undo after.
What if the coach cancels on us?
You always get a full refund — the exact amount you paid comes back, no matter how close to the session the coach cancels. You're notified in-app and by email.
How do I know a coach is safe to book?
Every coach must hold a current child-safety clearance that a human checks before they can take a single booking, and the system keeps enforcing it daily: lapsed or barred checks block new bookings automatically. For Australian coaches that check is made against the official state register, and their profile carries a WWCC Verified badge. A coach in a country with no equivalent register can never carry that badge; their profile shows what was actually checked instead. You can verify any coach's credential yourself on the public verifier.
Does a player get their own account?
No — players under 18 never have their own login. You create and control their profile under your own account, and you can share access with a co-parent via a one-time, revocable QR invite.
How do make-up credits work?
Book a full term and a make-up credit is included automatically. If life gets in the way of a session, the credit covers a future session with the same coach and applies by itself at your next checkout — nothing to remember.
What does CoDi cost me as a coach?
A monthly platform fee priced in your local currency, plus a flat 6% commission (GST-inclusive) itemised on every booking — you absorb the card fee so parents never see a surcharge. Every new coach starts with a 30-day free trial of the platform fee, per the Coach Terms.
When and how do coaches get paid?
Directly to your bank through your own Stripe Express account — your share of each booking is split to you at payment time, with Stripe's standard rolling payout (typically 2 business days). Booking-by-booking earnings live on your income dashboard with CSV export.
Which countries and currencies does CoDi support?
CoDi is built to operate across 21 regions — every Australian state and territory, New Zealand, the UK's four nations, Ireland, the US, Canada, South Africa, India, Hong Kong, Japan, and the Philippines — with prices set and charged in the coach's local currency and session times in the coach's timezone.
Do I need an account to book a court?
No. Court booking at a centre's public page is open to everyone — guests check out with name, email, and phone, and manage the booking through a secure emailed link.
