🪑 Every current family’s spot is held for them
Carry your roster across and each family gets their seat personally reserved for 7 days, an email invitation to re-book, and automatic reminders 3 days and 24 hours before the hold lapses. The chasing you used to do by email — done for you. They pay through the normal checkout; a held seat never charges anyone.
⏳ A waitlist parents can trust
When a spot frees up in a full class, it’s reserved for the first family in line for 24 hours before rolling to the next — no refresh races. Unclaimed re-run seats release straight to the waitlist, so your classes refill themselves while you’re on court.
Works out of the box for independent coaches — no centre required. Coaching under a centre? The centre can tune both hold windows to house policy.
The economics
What you actually pay.
- Per-booking commission
- 6% (GST-inclusive) on each booking - it funds the at-home drills, streaks, and progress tracking that keep kids playing between lessons. Stripe's card-processing fee is deducted from your share alongside the commission (it's never added on top of the price the parent pays). Your net = booking price minus 6% commission minus the Stripe fee.
- Monthly platform fee
- Priced in your country's currency (Australia: A$49.95/month). Every new coach starts with a 30-day free trial. Once CoDi is officially ATPCA-approved, ATPCA members pay 50% of their country's rate (Australia: A$24.98/month).
- Onboarding cost
- $0. No upfront fee. Stripe Connect Express onboarding takes ~5-10 minutes.
- Payout cycle
- Stripe pays out to your bank on a rolling 2-business-day delay (configurable in Stripe Express → Settings → Payouts). Per-booking earnings live at /coach/income for reconciliation.

Apply

Sign up as Player/Family → /profile → 'Become a coach'. Enter your CoDi Tennis Cert ID, level, expiry, and your WWCC number + state + expiry. Upload supporting docs.
WWCC verification
1-3 business days
A CoDi admin checks your clearance by hand. In Australia we look your WWCC number up on your state's register (NSW Kids Guardian, VIC Working With Children, QLD Blue Card, etc.). If you coach somewhere with no equivalent register, we check what we can and record that no register was available, and your public profile says so rather than claiming otherwise. You receive an in-app + email notification either way.
Stripe Connect

Once your WWCC is verified, you connect Stripe Express to receive payouts. Bank details + identity verification. 'Charges enabled' is usually instant; occasionally a few hours for review.
Plan your first class
~3 min
Open /coach/classes/new. Create the class in 'Planning' state to let parents register interest before you commit, or jump straight to confirmed. Parents see you in the public directory the moment you go live.
Trust posture: every coach is checked by a human before they appear in the public directory, and the badge parents see states exactly what was checked. A government register check is never implied where none was made. We’re evaluating automated daily re-verification for a future release.
