Founder Coach badge + 12 months free for the first 100
Two ways to lock in launch-coach status.
Founder Coach badge — every coach who joins on or before 31 July 2026 gets a permanent Founder Coach badge on their public profile. Recognition-only; no monetary discount. CoDi may extend the date at its discretion.
First 100 with 10 unique kids = 12 months free — the first 100 coaches who book at least 10 unique kids on the platform earn $0 monthly platform fee for 12 months from qualification. After the 12 months, standard monthly pricing resumes. Per-booking commission still applies in both cases.
Track your progress on your /coach home dashboard. The qualifying coaches are notified by email at threshold.
The economics
What you actually pay.
- Per-booking commission
- Typically 10–22% (GST-inclusive). The rate is set when you sign up. CoDi Tennis pays Stripe's 2.9% + $0.30 fee out of our commission — your share is the booking minus the CoDi commission, no separate Stripe fee.
- Monthly platform fee
- Set when you sign up. 30-day free trial for any coach who joins before 31 July 2026 — cancel before the trial ends and no charge. Coaches who qualify for the first-100-with-10-unique-kids benefit get this waived for an additional 12 months from qualification.
- Onboarding cost
- $0. No upfront fee. Stripe Connect Express onboarding takes ~5-10 minutes.
- Payout cycle
- Stripe pays out to your bank on a rolling 2-business-day delay (configurable in Stripe Express → Settings → Payouts). Per-booking earnings live at /coach/income for reconciliation.
Verification
From signup to first booking in 1-3 business days.
Apply

Sign up as Parent/Player → /profile → 'Become a coach'. Enter your CoDi Tennis Cert ID, level, expiry, and your WWCC number + state + expiry. Upload supporting docs.
WWCC verification
1-3 business days
A CoDi admin manually checks your WWCC number against your state's register (NSW Kids Guardian, VIC Working With Children, QLD Blue Card, etc.). You receive an in-app + email notification when verified.
Stripe Connect
~5-10 min
Once your WWCC is verified, you connect Stripe Express to receive payouts. Bank details + identity verification. 'Charges enabled' is usually instant; occasionally a few hours for review.
Plan your first class
~3 min
Open /coach/classes/new. Create the class in 'Planning' state to let parents register interest before you commit, or jump straight to confirmed. Parents see you in the public directory the moment you go live.
Trust posture: every coach’s WWCC is checked by a human against the state register before they appear in the public directory. We’re evaluating automated daily re-verification for a future release.
